Edgewood, Washington
The employer's side of a Washington L&I claim.
BridgeMark represents Washington employers inside the state industrial insurance system. We work the claim, we hold the people handling it accountable, and we get your employee back on work a doctor will actually sign off.
Title 51 RCWEmployers only. Washington State only.
A claim manager is carrying hundreds of claims. Yours is one of them.
Washington runs its own workers' compensation system. Your premium is not set by a private carrier, it is set by the Department of Labor and Industries against what your claims actually cost. So a claim left to drift is not a filing problem. It is a rate problem that arrives later, with interest.
BridgeMark was established so that Washington employers are not overpaying for industrial insurance. Our vocational and legal departments work the same claim at the same time, which is how a claim closes quickly and at the lowest cost rather than sitting open while two sides wait on each other.
We represent the employer. Not the insurer, not the claimant. That is the whole position, and everything on this site follows from it.
BridgeMark Claims Services was established to ensure that Washington State employers are not overpaying for industrial insurance.

Seven filingsEach one names the instrument it uses and the forum it lands in.
What we file, and where it lands.
Seven services, and every one of them produces a document that has to hold up in front of somebody: a claim manager, an attending provider, the Department, or the Board.
ScopeThree things this is often mistaken for.
What we are not.
Not a public adjuster. A public adjuster represents a policyholder after a property loss. We sit on the other side of a different table entirely: the employer's side of an industrial insurance claim.
Not an insurance agency. We do not sell you cover or quote a policy. In Washington your workers' compensation runs through the Department of Labor and Industries, and what we manage is what your claims cost inside it.
Not a law firm. We provide legal support and we represent your interests at the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals. A matter that needs licensed legal counsel needs licensed legal counsel, and we will say so.

Case management
The claim nobody is pushing is the claim that stays open.
Effective, tenacious communication is the whole job. We go to medical providers, often in person, to resolve conflicting opinions, ask for objective findings, and get a straight answer on what the worker can actually do.

On the recordNo reviews are claimed on this site because none are verifiable.
Four things you can check before you call.
We would rather be judged on what we are credentialed to do than on testimonials you have no way to confirm.

Questions employers ask us first.

Next stepMon-Fri 8am-5pm
Start with a claim review.
Bring your L&I account number, the claims you want looked at, and your current loss run. If you do not have all of it, bring what you have. Working out what is missing is part of the review.
